Closed, it is a small table lamp. Pull it open and it becomes a lantern you can carry to another room, or hang over a chair to read under.
Touch the top to turn it on, touch again to step through three levels of brightness. No switch, no dial.
It is cordless. Charge it by USB and it stays wherever you put it.
Before you open it: charge it fully before the first use. It ships with a partial charge, which is normal, and the first run will be short if you skip this.

Is it bright enough to read by?
Yes. At the highest of its three levels it is a reading light. It will not light a whole room, and it is not meant to.
How do I turn it on?
Touch the top. Touch again to step through the three brightness levels. There is no switch or dial.
Does it need to stay plugged in?
No. It is cordless once charged, by USB at 5V. The cable is included. Charge it fully before the first use.
How big is it?
Closed, 5.6 x 1.5 x 7.6 inches. Open as a lantern, 5.6 x 4.7 x 9.8 inches.
When will it arrive?
It ships from the United States and arrives in 3 to 8 business days after one business day of processing. Shipping is free and tracked, with no minimum.
Can I pay by card without a PayPal account?
Yes. Checkout runs through PayPal, and on PayPal’s page you can choose “Pay with debit or credit card” and pay as a guest. We never see or store your card number.
What if it arrives broken, or I change my mind?
Broken or defective: email a photo within 7 days of delivery and we send a replacement or refund it, your choice. Changed your mind: you have 30 days from delivery to return it unused in its original packaging; return shipping is on you in that case.
