Cool mist and a slow wash of light, from one thing on the nightstand. The room stops feeling dry at ten at night and stops feeling like an empty room at the same time.
The tank holds 200 ml and runs about five hours — long enough to fall asleep to, and it stops on its own when the water is gone.
Runs on 5V USB. Plug it into any standard adapter and leave it there.
Before you open it: this is a small object — 8.6 inches tall, about the height of a tall coffee cup. And the light is a soft wash, not a moving show. It does not rotate.
Details
- Power — 5V DC via USB, 3.5W. Cable included, wall adapter is not.
- Tank — 200 ml, about 40 ml per hour. Roughly five hours per fill.
- Water — Distilled water only. Tap water leaves mineral deposits that clog the unit — this is the single most common reason one of these stops working.
- Light — A soft color wash on the ceiling and walls. Fixed, not rotating.
- Noise — Under 30 dB. You can hear it in a silent room if you listen for it.
- Size — 3.1 × 2.8 × 8.6 in (8 × 7 × 22 cm). 9 oz.
- Cleaning — Unplug first. Rinse the reservoir weekly and let it dry completely.
- Oils — Optional. Two or three drops of essential oil on top of the water, no more — our 10 ml Diffuser Oil is made for it. Rinse the tank after scented use so oil does not build up.
- In the box — Unit, USB cable, cotton wick, manual.

Good to know
Does the light move or rotate?
No. It is a soft color wash on the ceiling and walls, fixed in place. For moving light, look at the Water Ripple Lamp or the Octopus Projector.
How long does a tank last?
About five hours on a 200 ml fill. It switches itself off when the water is gone.
Can I use tap water?
Use distilled water. Tap water leaves mineral deposits that clog the unit, and that is the most common reason one of these stops working.
Is a wall adapter included?
No. It comes with a USB cable; plug it into any standard 5V USB adapter, like a phone charger.
When will it arrive?
It ships from the United States and arrives in 3 to 8 business days after one business day of processing. Shipping is free and tracked, with no minimum.
Can I pay by card without a PayPal account?
Yes. Checkout runs through PayPal, and on PayPal’s page you can choose “Pay with debit or credit card” and pay as a guest. We never see or store your card number.
What if it arrives broken, or I change my mind?
Broken or defective: email a photo within 7 days of delivery and we send a replacement or refund it, your choice. Changed your mind: you have 30 days from delivery to return it unused in its original packaging; return shipping is on you in that case.
